WisdomPosted by Olaide (Fort Collins, United States) on 26 July 2007 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio. Once again, I want to thank you all my friends for your words of encouragement on this blog. Indeed, i consider myself fortunate to be able to relate with you all. My passion and hobby is photo art. I've tried to merge this with my spiritual life in order to see Him more. The result is a great understanding of my (our) creator. Seeing God in every day life is a marvellous experience. Todays shot is tittled Wisdom and i chose an egg to represent this subject. Ruminate with me and you will know why. The scripture says, Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor.

Your narrative is both self-disclosing and profound. Both image and words go together well. "In the beginning was the Word..." 26 Jul 2007 12:08pm Anthony from Singapore, SingaporeSeriously, urs is the first foto i seen taken with an egg...but...it is attractive...deep...although simple 26 Jul 2007 1:45pm Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesWonderful simple capture and wonderful words. Love your photo. 26 Jul 2007 1:53pm armin from Berlin, Germanyhey ...i think your view is not so simple as some think ..i saw last 20 photography ...differently, unusually, heavey, 26 Jul 2007 3:21pm @armin: you are right. One has to look beyond the image and tries to merge the image with the words. Most times, my pictures speak in parables. Maybe because I am a deep thinker. In shot, I hope you see more than the pictures and words. Thanks for your visit my wise friend. Excellent work. 26 Jul 2007 10:09pm HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesYes it is a marvellous experience pal! Nice shot. so simple but says so much! :) 26 Jul 2007 11:33pm WendyTsang.com from Hayward, United StatesVery nice! Sometimes I think myself as an egg - soft on t he inside and tough from the outside. Nice commentary too. 27 Jul 2007 7:55am Ginnie from Atlanta, GA, United StatesEveryone has already said it: very simple and therefore even more powerful! 27 Jul 2007 1:09pm [M] from New York, United Statesinteresting...and beautiful...is it endogeneity in this shot? 28 Jul 2007 3:32am Erik from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsYour work reminds me of the paintings of the Dutch artist Henk Helmantel, it's sincere and serene. Helmantel has recently been refused by the Groningen Museum because he is "too traditional", and not "innovative", "not an artist but a good craftsman" etc. whereas other traditional painters were exposed there. I find this arrogance must be punished by withdrawal of subsidy. 28 Jul 2007 5:40pm Natalia from Louisville, United StatesYou sure have a gift "To see a World in a Grain of Sand 29 Jul 2007 6:56am hamidreza from Tehran, IranYou've chosen a simple but wonderful subject to describe a lot of ideas in a simple shot. very well done. 29 Jul 2007 3:26pm L.Reis from Lisboa, PortugalYou have some amazing photos on your blog...congrats! I was quite attracted to this shot of the humble egg. Showing it in mono, I think, strengthens the image. There's more than meets the eye. Would like to thank you for visiting my photoblog, too. 4 Aug 2007 4:57am |
